Loners come together

Nakita slipped through the night forest. Her dark gray coat hid her perfectlt in the shadows. She raised her head and sniffed the air. Her gleaming brown eyes flashed and she raced forward, her belly low to the ground and paws bearly making any sound. Suddenly (just as she had hoped) a fox jumped away from Nakitas jaw and dashed away. Nakita gave chase and caught the fox in a matter of minutes. She raised her head and licked her bloody lips before moving into a cave to sleep.

Just as Nakita began to doze off, she heard movement in the bushes in front of the cave. She quickly got up and growled deeply.
